Privacy Policy

For loopd, a DM automation tool for Instagram and Messenger.

What we collect

When you connect an Instagram or Facebook account, loopd stores the access token Meta issues and your account id and handle. As people message the connected account (or comment on its posts), loopd stores those messages, the sender's profile identifiers, and any tags or automation activity, so it can show a unified inbox and run automations.

How we use it

Data is used solely to operate the product: delivering and displaying messages, running the automations you configure, and sending replies on your behalf through Meta's APIs. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

How it's stored and shared

Data is stored by the operator of this loopd instance and is shared only with Meta's APIs as required to send and receive messages. Access tokens are treated as secrets.

Data retention & deletion

You can disconnect an account at any time from Settings, which removes its stored access token. When you remove loopd from your Facebook or Instagram settings, Meta notifies our data deletion endpoint, and the stored connection and tokens for that account are deleted. To request deletion of inbox data, contact the operator of this instance.

Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be directed to the operator of this loopd instance.
